- Collaborate with Engineering on AI experimentation setup, versioning practices, and DevOps readiness.
- Identify and propose infrastructure improvements to support scalable, sustainable AI adoption.
- Propose ways AI-focused projects can be incorporated into the product roadmap/development cycle in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams.
- Develop prototypes or MVPs for top-priority AI features (e.g., AI-assisted feedback, content recommendations).
- Design experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, for iterative development and validation.
- Define clear success metrics (e.g., teacher time savings, student engagement) for AI initiatives.
- Leverage analytics and user feedback to measure adoption, impact, and ROI.
- Scale successful AI features across platforms, ensuring technical robustness and user value.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Enablement
- Lead AI knowledge-sharing sessions for Product and Engineering teams to build AI literacy.
- Document processes, best practices, and learnings in a shared knowledge base.

- Represent the company at AI/EdTech events and support thought leadership initiatives.
- Stay ahead of AI and EdTech trends to keep our platforms innovative and competitive.
What an ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in product management with a focus on AI/ML features or products.
- Strong technical background with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on data pipelines, APIs, and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines, as well as working with scalable, sustainable AI systems.

- Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for education technology and building tools that make a difference for educators and students.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Product Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Bonus points for:

- Exposure to AI development workflows including OpenAI API, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, and vector databases like Pinecone (or equivalents).
- Comfort with metrics-driven evaluation of AI systems (eg. precision/recall, latency, cost trade-offs) to inform product decisions.
- Ability to quickly prototype AI features using real data pipelines for early-stage validation and experimentation.
